Hello Oumellil,
.
DBCHANGE/V is the CM (Compatibility mode) program; its program file is DBCHANGE in PUB.SYS.
.
The NM (Native mode) version of DBCHANGE is called DBCHANGE PLUS/iX; its program file is DBCPLUS in PUB.SYS.
.
Be aware it is a purchaseable product and the 2 products are obsolete as of June 2000.
.
There are no HP replacement products for either HP DBChange Plus/iX or HP
DBChange/V; however, Hewlett-Packard has partnered with three HP e3000 Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to provide you excellent alternative solutions for your current DBChange product.
.
The 3rd party solutions are:
.
1) Adager Corporation
Web: www.adager.com
PRODUCT: Adager
.
2) Bradmark,Inc.
Web: www.bradmark.com
PRODUCT: DBGeneral
.
3) Open Seas (UK) Ltd
Web: www.openseas.co.uk/
PRODUCT: Flexibase

Oumellil,

In my 20 plus years supporting the 3000, I have used both ADAGER and DBGeneral. I have not used Flexibase. Both ADAGER and Bradmark have indicated that they will continue to support their 3000 based products. Both provide good products and support. IMHO, you can't go wrong with either.
