Can we use the D370 memory to K360? The memory is A3398-60014 what we used on a D370 server, we would like to expand memory to K360. Thanks,

Hello,

No you cannot. Memory is not compatible between these two servers.

Hello,

Whoops, according to partsurfer, that memory module is compatible between the two servers :-)

Hello,

My second answer suggested that they ARE compatible. At least, partsurfer displayed the same part number for both servers, so I guess they ARe compatible.

Yes the Memory is the compatible between the two machines. Just like A3717A and A3737A will work in both as well.

You may like to look at the document :

yes you can install them in both servers as long as you keep them paired. If you buy some k class modules they will have the same part number as the d class memory. We generally buy d class memory to go in our k's as its cheaper than the higher end server memory. Also remember to install in 4x dimms(2 modules) of a particular size first in the memory carrier board before any single modules for better performance.

Thank you for your reply. OK, I give up recycling D class memory... will buy new memory for K class.
