Hi...I'm a newbie to networking, SCSI, and RAID. I was given an old HP Netserver LH 3000r with the old OS removed. I've been trying to load NT and it won't recognize the hard drives. Originally I had an "unresolved config mismatch between disks and NVRAM" message. After reconfiguring it seems to be taken care of. However, it still will only see the cd-rom and floppy drive, not any of the hard disks. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

hi,

as you mention the nvram issue that means that you are configured to use the onboard netraid utility.

you will need to either rebuild or repair the raid set first. press control M at boot up and check the config.

once your raid is configured, then install the os, but you will need to patch the netraid drivers in at the F6 prompt.

not sure if nt is supported though, probably not and will not have the required drivers, try w2k instead

Thanks for your response. I'll try that.
