Author Subject: HP Printer Software freezing      Add to my favorites

I have an HP 952c Deskjet connected through USB running under Win 98 SE. In almost all programs, except Microsoft Word, when I attempt to make changes to the printer properties (through the printer properties option),hitting apply and ok causes the computer to freeze. This was not occuring before I had the serious crash a month ago, but it is doing it now and it is frustrating.
As an aside, the printer does not want to print photos on 4x6 photo paper properly, always printing them slightly skewed, no matter what program I use. Any help on either problem would be helpful (I just cleaned the rollers inside as per HP instructions and the paper is always tight to the edge of the tray, like it is supposed to be).
Thanks in advance,
Aaron White

Aaron,
About the printer software. Have you tried to reinstall your printer software? It could be that after your crash the program was damaged.

Tell me if it helped.

Greetz,

Rudy
