I have a d5200t with Vista home premium 64. HP update alerts me every week that there are updates available, shows me which updates they are and after I click "continue, downloads all of the updates. But after completion of each update download, it says "download cancelled" and a red "X" appeasr next to the update.

Any ideas???

Keith

Open your device manager and see if you actually have the hardware that is affected by the update I have seen a similar problem on an HP laptop.

Figured it out. Deleted all the temporary downloaded files and everything worked after that.

???

Go figure!

Mine was trying to download the wrong devices for what my machine had. MS also did the same thing.
