Has anyone worked out what you do with the 4 files in the download? I already have TCPMP installed on my 2790.

The x86 .exe goes on your PC the other .exe goes on your iPAQ and the .plg files go on your iPAQ in your tcpmp folder...

what's there not to understand? you take the Youtube video id (eg "og4Qi-FxyoA"), feed it to the exe file, it downloads the flv video, when the download is finished you watch the video with TCPMP.

Ok, let me try again.

1. Install everything as mentioned by Christak
2. from the Youtube URL copy the video ID
3. run the exe file
4. paste the video ID into the input field
5. select the location where you want to save the downloaded video
6. press Start - the program will download the video and give it a flv file extension
7. Start TCPMP, open file, point it to the downloaded file. On Windows Mobile 5+ confirm the security check for the two plugins once.
8. watch Youtube video.

Was that better?

x86.exe is YouTubeDownload.exe? It says "preparing to download" a few seconds and "Error: Invalid returned link!"
Any idea?

The x86 version for the PC doesn't really work (most of the time) -- Get the PPC version and place it on your device -- It will work...

They have released a new version it seems that no longer needs the .EXE

From their release notes:

"This is an implementation of tcpmp flv plugin

It permit to play flv file directly over the internet.
With www.mobytube.net is possible to search video from youtube, google video, etc with pocketpc and play directly.
This release solve previous problem to play youtube's videos."
