The printer stopped printing, then after several reboots and clearing out the print queue, the printer displayed this message. Now the printer will not print, and does not show the Network card in the menu. This happend 3 days ago. After reseating the card, the printer was able to function. The Jet Direct card was then updated with the latest firmware. The problem has resurfaced again today. Does anyone have any ideas? Do I need a new card?
Thanks

If after turning off the printer, you remove the JetDirect card and insert it in a different IO slot, and still receive the same error; it is the JetDirect card. HP will replace it if you call them and perform some troubleshooting steps. If you receive a different error message, or the problem goes away; it could be that that IO slot is bad. I had the same issue. When you press down on the control panel the error (my error at least) continues with the following: Unknown.C Line=1 [PID, TID] [7,53] STLVL0 0040ab14 Srvp.s1 STLVL1 004031e4 STLVL2 00401640 Lj.exe STLVL3 00403100 Srvp.s1 STLVL4 00413c44 IOMgr.dll STLVL5 00402264 WDog2.dll STLVL6 00401f68 WDog2.dll End: Top of stack
My printer was a LaserJet 4600 with JetDirect 615n
