We have several HP LJ 2200's with JetDirect J3113A cards in them. I recently downloaded the latest Download Manager, and successfully updated them, but one card is holding out and simply will not upgrade.
The only notable difference between this troublesome card and the others is the current Firmware version. The others were all 8.x before upgrading to 8.49, this one is still on 7.20.
Any idea what is preventing the upgrade? I am thinking the older FW needs to be updated incrementally, but I do not know where to get the older versions to make this happen.

Any F/W version over x.05.15 should upgrade without a problem, although some combinations may require 2 attempts.
DLM has a few quirks that you may not know: 1. Make sure the PC & JD are on the same LAN. Low speed & WAN connections don't work well if at all. 2. Make sure the network port matches the JD's speed/duplex setting. TFTP does not handle excessive packet loss very well. 3. Make sure you are giving DLM time to work, even on a high-speed LAN it can take 5 minutes & the status bar "appears" to stop 3 or 4 times. 4. Whenever DLM encounters ANY error, it must ALWAYS be closed & restarted each time before the TFTP module will work again.
Print out a config. page & check the I/O Card status & TCP/IP Status fields, make sure they show Ready.
